BE KIND: We aren't a typical boxing gym. We welcome all shapes and sizes: negativity has no place at Shadowbox.

Timeliness is Next to Godliness: We know commuting in NYC is unpredictable at times, so if you’re running late just call the studio and we'll do our best to take care of you. We recommend arriving 15-minutes before scheduled class start time for returning clients and 20-minutes prior for newcomers.

Inside the studio:
1. Be aware of those around you. The group atmosphere is an excellent motivator + works best when everyone is mindful.
2. Please keep conversations to a minimum (it disturbs others trying to focus).
3. No mobile phones + no bare feet.
4. Don't be shy - ask for assistance. Our staff will bend over backwards to make your workout great.
5. The door opens roughly 5 minutes before class is scheduled to begin.
6. No one will be allowed in to class more than 8 minutes after class has begun.
7. No kicking. Punching only, please.
8. Stick to your assigned bag.
